Tully Ryan
CEO & President
As
Chief Executive and President of TireWare, Tully is responsible
for the company's vision, product and market direction, and commitment
to customer service. He has inspired the company's unique culture
by promoting core values that focus on people, innovation, integrity
and fun.
Tully has an interesting business background; his early
years of paper routes, door-to-door sales and inside-sales gave
him the heart, entrepreneurial fire and courage to think big. After
receiving his degree from East Carolina University (Bachelor of
Science degree in Geology), Tully was bit by the technology bug
and founded ENI, an online procurement solution connecting engineering,
utility and local governments with product and service suppliers.
He also co-founded Broad Street Software Group, a venture technology
company, and co-founded Anova Financial Corporation, a financial
services company providing the unique combination of Security and
High yield utilizing a SaaS business and technology model. In 2004
, Tully helped co-found TireWare. In 2006, TireWare’s BODs asked
Tully to step in as full-time CEO and President to build TireWare
into the leading provider of web-based business solutions for the
tire and automotive service industry. He loves TireWare, his passion
for TireWare is infectious and is felt the moment he engages customers,
partners and investors.
In addition to serving on TireWare Inc.'s Board
of Directors, Tully is also on the boards of Broad Street
Software Group, Inc.,
Anova Financial Corporation, East
Carolina University Board of Visitors, and the Walter
R. Davis School of Business & Economics
Advisory Board at Elizabeth City State University.
When Tully isn't
working to build TireWare, he loves to spend time with his wife
and two great kids. The balancing act can be a little difficult
at times, but his family supports him and serves as a constant
reminder of what really matters in life. Tully loves to play golf
and don’t even get him started about ECU and Pirate football!
Gary McGrath
Vice President of Marketing
Gary
is the Vice President of Marketing at TireWare where he brings over 25 years of
business experience
from large Fortune 500 companies such as Proctor & Gamble
and Scott Paper Company to high-tech firms such as Novel and
Alphanumeric. Gary began his career as an officer in the US Army
after graduating with degrees in Mechanical and Metallurgical
Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Most recently
Gary headed up the sales and marketing initiatives at on-demand
software company SmartOnline.com until Tully convinced him to
join TireWare. Gary’s diverse management background, his MBA,
his soon to be Doctorate in Marketing, and his entrepreneurial
spirit brings a unique combination of experience and energy to
TireWare’s customers, to the industry and to TireWare.
Outside of
work, Gary is a tennis fanatic, he and his son Mike were ranked
nationally # 5 in the USTA 2007 Father-Son Doubles. Gary and
his beautiful wife enjoy traveling and trying out different sushi
restaurants.
Rene Sawyer
Vice President of Customer Success
Rene
has been involved in the development of the TireWare product
line since its inception. In her position, Rene is responsible for driving the success
of TireWare customers in creating, deploying, and growing the
TireWare application. She has more than 15 years of experience,
focusing on driving excellence, managing process improvement
initiatives to stimulate revenue and margin growth for our customers,
and building programs to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Prior to TireWare, most notably, Rene worked with two large industry
leading tire dealers, Action Gator Tire in Orlando, Florida and
Colony Tire in Edenton, North Carolina. Rene loves being in the
trenches with our customers helping to channel their amazing
innovative ideas to our developers and into TireWare.
Rene and her
husband love hanging out with their kids, two daughters and one
son, going for walks, skiing and being involved in many church
activities.
Chuck Skinner
Vice President of Solutions
Chuck is Vice President of Solutions
at TireWare, responsible for software systems and client solutions. He has a professional background in systems, contracts/procurement
and project management. He holds a BS in mechanical and environmental
engineering from Duke University and an MBA in finance and operations
management from Northwestern University. At TireWare, Mr. Skinner
leads the team that developed the TireWare application, in concert
with industry experts. Moreover, Chuck is also very knowledgeable
in the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Intuit QuickBooks
financial applications, and how they integrate into TireWare
as back end accounting solutions. He loves to brainstorm with
our clients on how TireWare can be enhanced, benefiting all our
clients. Prior to joining TireWare, Chuck served as Director
of Procurement for CH2M HILL, an employee owned, global project
delivery firm with over 10,000 engineers, planners, economists,
and scientists. During his tenure with CH2M HILL, he configured
and implemented an Oracle ERP system.
Chuck lives in Colorado,
and upon leaving work, enjoys skiing, golfing, and camping in the
beautiful Colorado mountains with his beautiful wife and two daughters,
always within cell phone range he’s afraid. His oldest daughter
Lindsey will follow his footsteps into Duke University’s College
of Engineering in the fall of 2008.
Artem Saveliev
Chief of Research & Development
Artem
is our Chief of Research and Development, responsible for TireWare’s
architecture and programming. He takes
our client’s requests and turns them into reality! Moreover, Art
oversees the Application Program Interface with our partners and
manages the rest of the development team. He is responsible for
continually enhancing TireWare, and at the same time making sure
it works reliably for our customers. In 1997, Artem moved to the
United States where he started with Broad Street Software Group
developing ENI, its an online procurement solution. He has a lot
of experience in almost all areas of computer technologies – from
networking, to DBA and system administration, to software development
and programming, to product management and architecture. Artem
always amazes us with his intellect and innovative designs. Artem
grew up in Moscow, Russia, where he got his BS degree in Computer
Science from one of the top Universities, Moscow Institute of Physics
and Technology, and started his career in IT.
In his spare time,
Artem is quite an accomplished photographer, who loves to hunt
for that perfect landscape. Artem and his lovely wife are enjoying
spending time with their first baby, and taking lots of photos.
Joseph Scheib
Chief Financial Officer
Joe
is the Chief Financial Officer for TireWare, where he oversees
the finance, accounting and human resource operations. Prior to
TireWare he was a Financial Operations Principal at Triangle Securities
where he handled all aspects of brokerage accounting and compliance.
Joe has 20 years of experience which includes being Regional Director
of Compliance for AXA Advisors overseeing compliance of all securities
transactions; at Morgan Keegan & Company as VP providing client
investment and asset management services and Financial Operations
Principal for J. Lee Peeler and Company and the Controller for
Carolina Securities Corporation. Joe is a CPA and holds a B.S.
in Accounting from East Carolina University.
Joe loves playing golf with his beautiful wife Barbara in Pinehurst,
his preference is always the #2 course.
